"Runaways" unveils the gripping saga of Steve Moore, a youthful protagonist wrestling with the trials of adolescence. Though aspirations of joining the basketball squad linger, Steve defers his dream, opting for employment to ensure his subsistence. His path intersects with Sally, a girl ensnared in the trappings of affluence yet marred by discontent. Meanwhile, Andy's trajectory veers into despair as he succumbs to drug addiction and street life, whereas Mike secures a semblance of normalcy by taking refuge with his benevolent aunt.
